Three Inner Witnesses of Truth
2 Corinthians 13:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Corinthians 13 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul asserts that every word is established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. In plain sense, a confirmation from multiple witnesses makes a statement trustworthy.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the verse lies a simple but profound law: a thing is established not by the world’s witnesses, but by the steady march of inner states that witness it as real. You are asked to consider three inner beings—the I AM which knows, the belief which leans into the possibility, and the emotional certainty that closes the circle—three voices that corroborate the truth you desire. When you declare, 'I am that state,' and you hold to it again and again, you are producing the two or three witnesses the apostle spoke of. Your actual experience will follow the alignment of your inner declarations; events will shift to bring about the external appearances that correspond to the inner state. Do not seek validation outside; rather, cultivate the threefold whisper within until it becomes the manifest rhythm of your life. The third coming you speak of is not a journey in time but a return to the already-known truth of your identity in God—the I AM—and the confidence that what you imagine in that state must occur.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already in the state you desire. Invite two or three inner witnesses—the I AM awareness, a firm belief, and a felt sense of completion—and feel the truth as real in this moment.
