Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul describes a vision of a man carried to the third heaven and hearing words too sacred to utter. The emphasis is on inner experience rather than outward boasting.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you there is a 'third heaven'—a summit of awareness beyond ordinary perception. When Paul says he will come to visions and revelations, he is pointing to your capacity to shift consciousness into a state where God’s presence is felt as I AM, not as distant event. The body and geography are shadows; the true ascent is spiritual, a movement of inner attention that climbs since the mind is God. The 'unspeakable words' become meaningful only when you live them; you cannot utter them with the mouth until you embody them in the state of being. Therefore, there is no boast in the ascent—only the realization that you have always dwelt in Paradise when you choose the right state. The grace and favor you seek come as you stop seeking them outside and begin fully trusting your own imaginative act. Your visions are your own inner revelations, accessible right now by assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled and abiding there.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you are already in the third heaven of God’s presence. Feel the paradise within and declare, 'I AM here,' allowing the silent words to certify your reality.
