Yes in Him: Inner Promises Realized

2 Corinthians 1:19-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
20For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2 Corinthians 1:19-20

Biblical Context

Paul declares that in Christ, there is no mixture of yes and no. All of God's promises are a present 'Yes' and an 'Amen'.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the inner life of your mind, Christ is the unwavering Yes that dissolves every doubt. The phrase 'in Him' means in the consciousness that is one with God—your I AM state. When you affirm that all the promises are Yes in Christ, you are not seeking an external sign; you are aligning your inner self with the assumption of fulfillment. The 'us' are the messengers of your higher self, speaking through your sense of reality. The 'yea' and 'nay' of old thinking fall away as you persist in the present tense of completion. Practice becomes simple: dwell as the consciousness that already holds the fulfilled promise and revise any lack into abundance. In that Amen, you witness God's glory poured into your life here and now, by the power of your inner I AM.

Practice This Now

Choose a specific promise, close your eyes, imagine Christ-consciousness as present-tense reality, feel gratitude, and declare 'Amen' now until it feels true.
