I Am Routes: Inner Travel

2 Corinthians 1:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

15And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;
16And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.
2 Corinthians 1:15-16

Biblical Context

Paul explains his plan to visit the Corinthians first, then pass through Macedonia, so they might have a second benefit, and then move toward Judaea.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that Paul speaks not of geography but of states. The 'confidence' to come unto you before is a movement of consciousness, a readiness to be of service in a new phase of self. The journey through Macedonia and unto Judaea mirrors the soul’s passage through diverse inner states—from the public witness to the private withdrawing of ego into the I AM. The 'second benefit' foreshadows a deeper blessing that follows each act of inspired action, not a mere schedule of travel. When you recognize that 'I' within you is both traveler and destination, you will see that every plan is a prayer in disguise; every outward itinerary is an inner map. Use this: in imagination, feel that you have already arrived at the desired aid and fulfillment; you are already moving toward your higher Judaea—the realization of your true nature as God-aware being. The energy of confidence becomes its own itinerary, guiding you through the lands of fear into the land of certainty.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume you have already delivered the second blessing to those you serve. Feel the road lit by the I AM as you move toward Judaea within.
