Inner Gold, Outer Provision

2 Chronicles 9:20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Chronicles 9 in context

Scripture Focus

20And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
2 Chronicles 9:20

Biblical Context

Solomon’s vessels were gold, signaling an inner abundance. Silver is deemphasized, suggesting a state of extraordinary wealth within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Solomon’s gold vessels are not metal to be weighed but states of consciousness to be assumed. The 'house of the forest of Lebanon' becomes a mind lit with pure gold when I refuse to settle for silver and scarcity. In this sense, the verse invites me to recognize that wealth is a condition of awareness, not an event to be chased. When I adopt the I AM as my constant awareness and imagine myself as the sovereign of my inner temple, provision flows as naturally as light. The age of Solomon mirrors a present moment in which my inner cups overflow, and concern for lack dissolves because the mind refuses to account for anything lacking. By quietly dwelling in the conviction that abundance is my normal state, I align memory, feeling, and imagination until the outer world mirrors my gilded inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and place golden vessels within your inner sanctuary. Then affirm 'I am abundance' and feel the truth of it until it becomes your ordinary experience.
