2 Chronicles 33:9

Biblical Context

Manasseh led Judah astray, causing them to err and to do worse than the heathen whom the LORD had destroyed. The outer collapse mirrors an inner misalignment of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Manasseh is a symbol of a ruling belief within you that has forgotten its oneness with life. When such a belief governs, the whole psyche—your thoughts, decisions, and actions—drifts into error, even worse than the so-called heathen. Practically, the outward mess is simply the visible result of inward separation from the I AM. The LORD destroying the heathen becomes a reminder that the true power to govern your life rests with the consciousness you inhabit. The moment you identify with fear, limitation, or blame, you invite experiences that seem to prove those things true. To change it is not by fighting outer conditions but by returning to the sovereign awareness that you are the I AM—the one creator of your world. Reclaim the throne of your mind by affirming this unity and by living from the conviction that every image you entertain is being woven into your reality. When you revise your dominant assumption, the erring acts disappear and a higher order of life appears.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM now as the sovereign king of your mind. Feel it real by breathing into the sense that all images of limitation are dissolved in the light of your consciousness.
