Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Manasseh did evil in the sight of the LORD, like the abominations of the heathen. He rebuilt the high places his father had broken down, erected altars for Baalim, made groves, and worshipped and served the host of heaven.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the inner sanctuary, the tale speaks not of geography but of your states of consciousness. The evil acts are the reassertion of old patterns: the 'high places' are fixed habits of thought; the altars to Baalim are attachments to transient images; groves are the turning of attention toward the outer heavens—the host of heaven being the bright external signs of power you chase outside your true Self. When you accept such images as real, you worship them and serve their demands; you become the servant of appearances. You are not bound to them; the I AM, your eternal awareness, stands as the only king. You can correct this by turning your attention inward, reassigning power from outward forms to the living I AM within. In your imagination, you choose to tear down the old altars, erase the groves, and honor the one infinite presence as your sole reality. This inner revision is the true return to holiness.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM now; in your imagination, tear down the old altars, remove the groves, and feel the I AM as the sole reality governing you. Repeat daily to reinforce the inner shift.
