19And they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.
2 Chronicles 32:18-19

Biblical Context

Enemies cried aloud to terrify Jerusalem and to take the city; they spoke against the God of Jerusalem as if he were one of the earth's man-made gods. It highlights the clash between true worship and idol worship, urging faith that endures ridicule.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the scene as a drama within your own consciousness. The wall is your present state, a boundary where fear and certainty meet. The loud cries are not voices outside but a movement in your mind trying to persuade you that your inner God is merely another idol among many. The 'God of Jerusalem' is the I AM within you—the pervading awareness that upholds life. The 'gods of the earth, which are the work of the hands of man' are the construct of limited thoughts, the idols of past beliefs and appearances that claim power. Do not attempt to quell them by force; simply shift the assumption. In this moment, you acknowledge that God alone is the power here, and that your awareness is the constituted reality. As you revise the scene to the truth that the I AM is ruling, fear loses its grip and the city stands firm in faith. Your inner Jerusalem awakens as order, protection, and harmony, maintained by the immutable power you are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume: 'I am the God of Jerusalem within me; no idol can overpower my awareness.' Feel this I AM as a living reality until the sensation is concrete in your chest.
