Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon begins building the temple in Jerusalem, following precise measurements and covering the structure with gold. The construction culminates in a most holy sanctuary dedicated to God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Solomon’s temple is not a pile of gold and timber in a distant land; it is a symbol of your own inner sanctuary, built by the activity of your consciousness. The measurements, the gilding, the cherubim on the walls—all of it speaks of the progressive sanctification of space within. When you imagine the house of the LORD rising in your mind, you are not copying a building but you are rehearsing the act of awareness becoming tangible. The gold you see is the radiation of your true I AM, spiraling through beams, posts, and walls until every corner shines with divine substance. The most holy place is the I AM itself, the refuge where attention rests in the truth that you are God in expression. As you dwell there, wealth, provision, and beauty become the natural outcome of alignment, not chance. The outer world reflects the inner temple you guard with reverent focus. Practice this by standing in imagination: overlay your inner room with pure gold, engrave in your mind the presence of cherubim guarding your gates, and declare, 'I AM the Lord in my heart.'
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine your room as the temple of the LORD. Overlay its walls with golden light and sense the I AM presiding there.
