Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Judah faces punishment for past sins, and a covenant is proposed to turn away wrath; the passage calls the people to not neglect their sacred duties, for the Lord has chosen them to stand before Him and minister.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the 'wrath' speaks not to a future punishment but to the storm of mind that arises when you forget who you are. The remedy is a covenant—an inner agreement with the Lord God of Israel. This tells you that your awareness can reverse appearances by assuming a state in which you stand before God, serve Him, and burn incense in the temple of your heart. You are the one chosen to be conscious of God, to carry a ministry of right focus and devotion. When you accept this inner role, the outer scenes of exile and trouble begin to recede as if the night settles into dawn. The 'fierce wrath' becomes simply the old memory of limitation, dislodged by the new feeling that you are already in covenant with your I AM. Do not neglect this duty of inner worship; it is the very act that seals your new status. As you dwell in that chosen standing, you invite peace, guidance, and return — not by pleading with God, but by the living assumption that God is your constant reality.
Practice This Now
Assume now: I am chosen to stand before God and to serve Him inwardly. Feel the wrath dissolve as I covenant with the I AM and affirm my unity with divine service.
