Inner Reign, Inner Strife

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehoram rises to kingship, kills his brothers and other leaders, then deserts righteous paths, marrying Ahab's daughter and doing evil in the sight of the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
In your inner life, the kingdom you claim to rule is a state of consciousness. Jehoram’s rise, murder of his brethren, and marriage into idol-worship are not distant events but inner movements of belief: the thought that power comes from force; separation from truth defines authority; and a counterfeit deity can secure a throne. When you identify with that story, you become the king who cuts off parts of your own being — your inner brethren, your conscience, your true guidance. You imitate the house of Ahab and invite an idea that corrupts alignment with God, walking in a form of evil because you have bought a lie about power and worth. The remedy is a reversal of assumption: you are not a ruler who conquers by violence; you are the I AM, the constant awareness that remains when outward events bend. Re-vision your inner court; see every facet of you as sacred under the LORD of your consciousness, and let peace replace this ancient strife.
Practice This Now
Act: Assume the I AM as the governing state now; revise the scene of inner 'brethren' slain into a harmony of all faculties united under divine order. Feel it real by repeating 'I AM' until you know you reign as consciousness alone.
