16To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
17Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
2 Chronicles 20:16-17

Biblical Context

The passage tells Judah to go out the next day but not to fight; they should stand and witness God's salvation, for the Lord is with them.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you, the 'battle' is a state of consciousness, not a clash of men. When the command comes to go forth, it is you who must not fight externally, but inwardly; you stand firm in the awareness of the I AM and allow the inner salvation to reveal itself as your circumstance. The cliff of Ziz and the Jeruel wilderness become inner landscapes where doubt would decay; you do not argue with them, you awaken to the truth that the LORD is with you now. In this moment, you are instructed to stand still and to let imagination do its healing work, for imagination is the instrument by which God becomes seen. As you entertain the conviction that the I AM accompanies you, the sense of separation dissolves; you move forward from the stillness with confidence, knowing the victory is already yours in consciousness. The world you live in shifts to reflect that inner victory; you will not need to strive, for the salvation has been created within you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and say to yourself, I AM with me; stand still and see salvation now. Feel the inner victory as real and step forward as already victorious.
