Courage Within the Covenant
2 Chronicles 19:9-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Chronicles 19 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage commands leaders to act with the fear of the LORD, faithfully and with a perfect heart; it also sets boundaries, warns against trespass, and appoints trusted officers, with courage as the path and divine companionship as the result.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the inner city as your state of consciousness. The charge—do this in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart—is a directive to align your awareness with the I AM. The brethren and their cities symbolize your thoughts and their movements; to warn them that they trespass not against the LORD is to maintain inner boundaries that keep you in harmony with divine order. Amariah the chief priest and Zebadiah the ruler are the high lights of your inner governance, orchestrating the mind and the emotions under the Lord's authority. The Levites are the officers who carry this order into daily thinking and action. Deal courageously is not aggression but trust in a state of presence where the LORD is with the good. When you govern from that settled awareness, the external merely mirrors your inward alignment. Your practice is to inhabit the I AM, revise any limiting inner scripts, and let courage and perfect heart guide every choice. The result: inner peace, clear boundaries, and actions that flow from divine law.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare that I am governed by divine law; I move with a perfect heart and courageous discernment. Then feel the inner officers aligning thoughts, words, and deeds with the I AM presence.
