Inner Covenant Boundaries

2 Chronicles 19:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Chronicles 19 in context

Scripture Focus

10And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
2 Chronicles 19:10

Biblical Context

The verse calls you to warn your brethren not to trespass against the LORD. By keeping the inner laws, you and your brethren avoid wrath.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the Neville reading, 'brethren' are the parts of you that stand in relation to the covenant with your I AM. 'Between blood and blood, between law and commandment' marks the inner currents where impulse and order meet; a thought or feeling can split your attention and threaten the inner law. The command to warn is really a call to turn your attention toward the inner statute you have accepted as truth and to remind that those states of consciousness must not trespass against the LORD within. When you notice a painful or impulsive tendency arising, you do not condemn it; you acknowledge it and revise it by re-centering in the I AM, affirming that you shall not let any claim contradict the inner law. The result is not wrath upon others but harmony within your own life, for the outer world mirrors the state of your consciousness. Thus the verse teaches vigilance in guarding the covenant; your "wrath" comes from ignoring the inner law, and your duty is to keep it bright and obeyed, so your entire life remains under one sovereign authority: the I AM you are.

Practice This Now

Assume the role of the guardian of your inner covenant. Imagine a thought that would breach the inner law; verbally revise, "You shall not trespass against the LORD within me." Then feel that alignment as reality.
