Rest, Readiness, and Inner Fortresses
2 Chronicles 14:6-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Asa's people enjoy rest given by God. He uses that rest to fortify cities and prepare for potential conflict while trusting the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Rest here is not passive; it is the I AM acknowledging that all is already finished in consciousness. The land rests because God, the I AM within you, has granted a state of wholeness. From that inner peace, Asa declares, 'let us build these cities' - that is, from settled awareness you erect walls of order and protection around your life. The army described - targets, spears, shields, bows - symbolizes the faculties you bring into alignment when you know you are complete. The host of Zerah the Ethiopian represents fear, a thought-form that would overwhelm you if you doubt your rest. Yet Asa goes out and sets the battle in array, not by struggling, but by confidence in the rest that underwrites all action. The valley of Zephathah is the mental field where decisions are made and events begin to take form. When you hold to this rest, conditions prove your inner certainty; you prosper, your edges are fortified, and outer conflict yields to the order of your inner arrangement.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already in the rest God provides. Feel the inner fortress of order you stand within, and proceed from that certainty.
