On the third day, Jeroboam and the people come to Rehoboam as the king had invited them.
Neville's Inner Vision
All outer events are states of consciousness. When 2 Chronicles 10:12 speaks of Jeroboam and the people coming to Rehoboam on the third day, it is not about geography but the inner order of your mind. The king on the throne represents your I AM, the sovereign awareness that rules the inner kingdom—the Kingdom of God within. The crowd gathering is the multitude of beliefs, habits, and fears that seek your attention and allegiance. The third day is the fixed moment your mind returns to the throne and declares, 'I will hear only my own inner law.' Obedience here is faithfulness to that inner decree, not to others’ opinions. When you dwell in that sovereign state, the outer scene must align with it; the people come to acknowledge your decision, not to coerce you. The event becomes a demonstration that you are ruler of your inner world, and your outward life follows the edict of consciousness. Stay loyal to the decree you intend to be, and the world will reflect the authority of your I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes; assume the I AM throne in your mind and feel the decree already done. See the 'crowd' of thoughts bowing as you stand in sovereign awareness.
