The Savior Within You
1 Timothy 1:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul states a faithful saying: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. He then confesses he is chief among them.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this verse the gospel speaks not of a distant act but of an awakening in consciousness. Christ Jesus coming into the world is the realization that the savior you seek is already dwelling as your I AM, the constant awareness within. The 'world' referenced is the landscape of your thoughts and identifications; salvation is reorienting your sense of self from a hardened ego toward the God-consciousness that you are. When Paul says, 'of whom I am chief,' he models how you meet your own sense of unworthiness with the authority of the inner Christ, knowing you are not condemned but being redeemed by your very awareness. The sinner is a mistaken state you assume; the truth of your God-self stands as the sole real condition, and all change follows when you assume you are already saved by that inner presence. Thus the gospel is a present-tense transformation: consciousness is the world, and your world shifts as you align with the I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the Christ within me now; I am saved.' Then dwell in the felt sense of being already loved, whole, and forgiven until that certainty becomes your experience.
