God hath not appointed wrath but salvation through Christ points to an inner invitation: awaken to your true self, the risen awareness within you. Jesus’ dying for you signifies inner renewal—letting the old self perish so a living you, one with the divine, can dwell with Him. Whether you wake or sleep, your daily life can be lived in fellowship with this inner Christ when you abide in present consciousness.
