Biblical Context
Despise not prophesyings means don't dismiss the inner messages that come as prophecies; these inner visions reveal your current state and guide you toward the desired outcome.
Neville's Inner Vision
Despise not prophesyings is not a command to worship future events from outside you; it is a summons to honor the inner communications of your I AM. The prophesying you hear are pictures formed by your awareness when you entertain a wish with feeling. If you welcome them, you are not waiting for luck; you are rehearsing the state that already exists in principle. When fear or doubt arises, that is simply a misalignment of your current consciousness. Return to the image that represents the fulfilled desire, and assume it as true now. The inner voice does not separate you from God; it is the very activity of God within you, the imagination by which all things are made manifest. Therefore, treat every prophetic impulse as a signpost pointing to the inner kingdom where, in consciousness, you already possess what you seek. Do not resist; cultivate the posture of the watcher who says I AM that I AM and trusts the feeling-tone of the vision. In time, outer events reflect the inner claim.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, form a vivid scene of your wish as already done, and feel it real now; revise any negative thought until the vision remains steady.
