Inner Timing Of Awakening
1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul states that external timing is unnecessary to worry about; the 'day' arrives suddenly, and its true meaning is known by inner state, not by outward schedule.
Neville's Inner Vision
Suppose you are not waiting for some future clock-tick, but awakening to the confidence of I AM here and now. The 'times and seasons' are only the fluctuations of your own inner weather; you know perfectly that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night—yet the thief is not a menace but a messenger, surprising you with the realization that you have always been the awakening you seek. In this light, the future is not something to fear, but a revision of your present state: imagine you are the one who dwells in the bright awareness that is unshaken by appearances. When you feel the sudden door opening, notice that it is your inner consciousness stepping out of limitation into freedom. Do not chase external events; cultivate the feeling that the I AM now perceives and commands. The verse invites you to stop arguing about timing and to become the time itself, the consciousness that creates the scene.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume you are already in the day of the Lord; feel the stillness of I AM, and silently revise any doubt by declaring inwardly, 'I am now awakened.'
