1 Samuel 23:9-10

Biblical Context

David senses Saul's mischief toward Keilah and asks Abiathar to bring the ephod to seek God's guidance. He voices his awareness of the danger and reliance on divine direction.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville's voice: David's moment is a living state of consciousness, not merely a siege in history. Saul's plot is the movement of fear within the mind, and the ephod is the inner instrument by which David tunes his awareness to the I AM. Keilah stands for the life you are building; the threat is a belief that the outer world can destroy it. When David says he has heard Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for his sake, he names the belief that danger has power, yet he does not negotiate with it. He turns to the Source within, asking for divine direction and perceiving the answer as already present. The practice is simple: assume that the I AM sees and preserves you now, revise the sense of threat, and feel the protection as real. In that alignment, fear dissolves, and you act from the center of being rather than from alarm.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, hold the inner ephod in awareness, and declare, 'I am the I AM; this situation is already resolved in consciousness.' Feel the relief and confidence as if the answer is already true.
