Scripture Focus

1And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill David.
2But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
1 Samuel 19:1-2

Biblical Context

Saul plots to kill David; Jonathan, loyal to David, warns him and urges him to hide in a secret place until morning.

Neville's Inner Vision

Saul's decree to kill David is not a history lesson but a map of your inner state under pressure. Jonathan's loyalty to David represents the discernment within you—the I AM that loves truth and will overcome fear, if you listen. The threat is a projection born from a fear-based consciousness; the secret place is the inner refuge where imagination can revise the scene. Rather than fighting outwardly, you enter a moment of revision: declare that the I AM surrounding David (your highest identity) has already disarmed Saul, and feel the safety of the secret place. When morning comes, the outer world shifts to reflect the new state. Your state of consciousness creates the events, not the other way around. Trust the covenant you feel in Jonathan—the loyalty of your inner hearing to your own sovereignty.

Practice This Now

Assume the David-state now: safe and watched by your inner Jonathan. Revise the scene, turning Saul's threat into a projection, and feel the I AM shielding you in a secret refuge.
