Read 1 Samuel 15 in context

Scripture Focus

27And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.
28And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
29And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
1 Samuel 15:27-29

Biblical Context

Samuel tells Saul that the LORD has torn the kingdom from him and given it to a neighbor that is better; the Strength of Israel will not lie or repent.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the Neville lens, the kingdom is a state of consciousness, not a throne. Saul's loss signals an inner realignment: the old self clinging to external power is torn away, and a higher state—represented by a neighbor that is better—rises to rule inside. The declaration The Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent names your inner I AM—the divine awareness that does not falter when you finally align with it. The mantle's tearing reveals that true sovereignty rests not in outward kingship but in the unchanging I AM that dwells within. God is not a man that he should repent; your God-state does not alter its decision when you assume it. The outer world bears the effect; the inner assumption remains the cause. To practice, dwell in the certainty that the kingdom you desire already exists as a present-tense I AM. Then revise any sense of lack until it feels real, and let the feeling of the state you intend saturate your imagination until it becomes your lived experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise by stating the kingdom is mine now and that the old self is torn away. Feel the inner governor, the I AM, rise within and radiate authority into your day.
