6Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
1 Peter 2:6

Biblical Context

A chief cornerstone is laid in Zion for believers; those who trust in it are not confounded.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the psalm of your mind, the I AM is the Zion where a chief cornerstone stands. The scripture does not plead for a distant rock; it reveals your own awareness as the elect and precious presence of God. When you affirm that the cornerstone lies in you, belief ceases to be a mere opinion and becomes a state of consciousness you inhabit. To believe on him is to align with that inner reality, trusting that your life is founded on stability and redemption already completed in consciousness. Doubt dissolves as you hold the image of the fixed foundation, and confounding appearances lose their weight. The promise—you shall not be confounded—is a law of mind: as your identification with the cornerstone thickens, the exterior world reflects steadiness, integrity, and salvation. Zion is the inner disposition that accepts you as complete in God; the chief cornerstone is your persistent assumption that you are God-aware and loved, now, here, in every moment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and declare, I am the chief cornerstone in Zion; I am elect and precious. Feel this inner foundation as real now, and watch the outer scene respond.
