Biblical Context
Peter says you were not redeemed by corruptible things like silver or gold, but by the precious blood of Christ; your faith and hope are to be in God.
Neville's Inner Vision
You were not purchased by material wealth or outward tradition; the 'blood of Christ' is the symbolic life-force of awareness within you. Foreordination before the world's foundation points to your true self fixed in consciousness; the Christ-idea emerged in these last times so you could recognize it within. To believe in God is to believe in the I AM you are—the power that raised Jesus and gave him glory. Redemption, then, is a shift of inner state: release fear, claim trust; move from lack to abundance; identify with the eternal I AM rather than transient forms. External rites fade when you awaken to this inner allegiance; the blood signifies your inner life cleansing old beliefs. Stand in God as your premise—assume you are already redeemed, and that your faith and hope reside in the I AM God within you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In a few quiet minutes, picture a stream of light—the life-blood of God—washing through your mind, cleansing it of old beliefs. Then softly declare, 'I am the I AM of God within; my faith and hope are in this inner God.'
