Biblical Context
1 Kings 6:30 states the temple floor was overlaid with gold inside and out, symbolizing a sanctified space that reflects purity throughout.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, the floor gilded inside and out is not a relic of the building but a statement about your inner environment. The house is your mind; the gold is the consistency of your states—worth, purity, and sacred order—made real by imagination. When you assume you are already the I AM, you overlay every surface of consciousness with value, so the outer world reflects that glow. Holiness becomes practical: it means choosing thoughts that are true to your divine nature, and letting that truth color every action. The Presence of God is not distant but recognized as your own awareness in motion. Stand fast in this recognition, revise any faltering belief, and feel it real in the body until mood and circumstance respond in kind. In this view, the line between holy and ordinary dissolves; the floor you stand on mirrors the realized self, and your day becomes a continuous ceremony of trust in the Presence you already are.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: close your eyes and see the floor of your room overlaid with gold, inside and outside; affirm, 'I AM the Presence now.' Do this each morning until it feels true in the chest and breath.
