Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon prepared an inner oracle to hold the ark of the LORD, overlaid the house with gold, and set a gold partition before the oracle. The emphasis is on consecration and the sanctity of the worship space.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you there is an inner sanctuary, a chamber in which the I AM can dwell openly. The oracle and the holy place are described as though a room in the temple is to be clothed entirely in gold—not for display, but to signify the purification and consecration of consciousness. Overlaying the house with pure gold is an inner act: return every thought, feeling, and image to the one reality, that the walls of your life glow with divine light. The chain-partition before the oracle represents the discipline you impose to keep sacred attention intact, so revelation can occur undisturbed. The ark of the covenant resting in that chamber is your I AM—the living Presence that makes covenant with God and man in every moment. When you dwell in this gilded awareness you are not worshiping externally; you are consenting to God’s Presence within, and that is true worship.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and enter the inner sanctuary. Imagine the whole house overlaid with gold and the ark resting within, and feel the Presence now as your natural state.
