Read 1 Kings 2 in context

Scripture Focus

3And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
1 Kings 2:3

Biblical Context

King Solomon is commanded to adhere to the LORD's charge—walking in His ways, keeping His statutes and commandments. Obedience to the inner, divine law is presented as the path to prosperity in all endeavors.

Neville's Inner Vision

Picture the LORD thy God as the I AM within you—the living vow you keep to yourself. To keep the charge is to maintain a constant state of obedience to your inner law. Walk in His ways, not as external ritual, but as the vibrations you dwell in; keep His statutes, judgments, and testimonies as the standards by which you evaluate every thought, feeling, and choice. When you hold them as written in the law of Moses—the inner law inscribed in your consciousness—prosperity is invited into your experience as a natural outgrowth. It is not charity from elsewhere, but alignment of your inner state with its creative power. As you persist in this sustained fidelity, you discover that prosperity follows in all you do and wherever you turn, because your inner disposition governs the turn of events. The verse invites you to refuse the impulse of contradiction and to maintain a covenant loyalty to the God within—your I AM—so that life mirrors that fidelity. Begin from this moment to rest in that inner order and observe outcomes respond to your inner decree.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already keeping the charge of the LORD; feel it real: I AM walking in His ways and prospering in all I do. Do this for five minutes, revising any sense of lack into present alignment.
