Inner Crown of Authority
1 Kings 1:47-49 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Kings 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
David blesses Solomon and acknowledges God has given him the throne today. He says his eyes are seeing it, while guests depart in awe.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the blessing servants I hear around me are the whispers of my own consciousness praising the self that I am. When the king bows and says Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it, I know he is not blessing a future king but the I AM that declares sovereignty now. The throne Solomon represents is the idea perfectly realized in my mind; to sit upon it is to align with the divine order that already exists within. Adonijah and the fear filled guests are merely thoughts of opposition that melt when I acknowledge that the kingdom of God is within me; the fear flees as I accept the crown as mine by virtue of consciousness. I do not seek permission from without; I walk in the truth that God has set me on the throne today, and my life must presently reflect that declaration. By dwelling in that state, the world adjusts to the royal order of being that is my natural state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and assume you are already seated on the throne of your inner kingdom. As you inhale, feel the seat beneath you; as you exhale, declare I am the king on my throne this day.
