Biblical Context
This passage states that God has given us eternal life, and that life resides in the Son; having the Son means having life, while not having the Son means lacking life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the Neville lens, the record is an inner decree. God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. The Son is not a distant person outside you; it is the vibratory state of consciousness you awaken in. To have the Son is to possess a present livingness—life that does not fade because it is identifying with the I AM that you are. To not have the Son is to live as if life depends on something other than your awareness; that is a state of lack, fear, and strife. Therefore, the eternal life is not earned by works but assumed as your immediate state of being. When you assume the feeling of the Son, you are already within the life that lasts beyond time. The light of this awareness dissolves separation and redefines what life means: vitality, meaning, and grace flow from your oneness with the I AM. Practice a deliberate revision of your inner story: you are the one who already holds life in the Son.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare silently 'I have the Son and thus eternal life now.' Feel the life flowing, imagine a golden light resting in your chest and expanding through your whole being.
