Walking in the Light Within

1 John 1:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 John 1 in context

Scripture Focus

7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:7

Biblical Context

To walk in the light is to dwell in the I AM awareness; this awakens fellowship with others and cleanses us from sin by the life-energy of Christ within.

Neville's Inner Vision

John invites you into a state, not a place. Walking in the light is shifting your life to the I AM, so you perceive others as reflections of your awakened mind and fellowship becomes natural. The blood of Jesus is not an outward doctrine but the living energy that moves through you when you affirm you are one with divine moment. Sin dissolves when you insist you are in the light; you release the belief in separation and discover unity with all that is. The verse becomes a practical technique: choose the state of unity, imagine the room filled with that same light, and feel the cleansing wash away old self judgments as your consciousness remains bright.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare I am the light in which we all exist; feel the warmth of fellowship and let the cleansing life wash away any sense of sin.
