Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, you are not asked to copy a man as a mere authority, but to awaken the one inside you who already knows the way. When Paul says, Be ye followers of me, he is pointing to the state from which every act proceeds. He does not demand conformity to a personality outside yourself; he reveals a method: imitate the state of consciousness that already knows the truth. Imagine you are the I AM that Paul follows—the quiet, unwavering awareness that governs your days. By assuming the feeling of that I AM, you begin to reflect the life you seek: order, obedience, faith, and discernment. The world’s leaders are only the outer signs of an inner leader. Your job is not to compete with others but to align your inner self with a higher pattern. In this light, holiness and separation are not separations at all, but clear boundaries drawn by the consciousness that knows what it desires and refuses what is not it. To imitate an ideal is to train your own awareness to dwell in that truth until it becomes your daily experience.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I am the I AM, and I follow the inner standard I already am. Sit with that feeling for a moment, and let your next action be guided by it, as if you are already living the leadership you seek.
