Please All, Save Many

1 Corinthians 10:33 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 10 in context

Scripture Focus

33Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
1 Corinthians 10:33

Biblical Context

Paul says he aims to please all in all things for the sake of others' salvation, not for his own profit.

Neville's Inner Vision

Seen through the inner eye, the verse reveals the tone of consciousness, not a rule about external pleasing. When I, the I AM, refuse to cling to my own advantage, I align with the entire field of life, and the many become the mirrored multitude of states awaiting awakenings. The speaker’s motive to please all is the movement of imagination: by imagining the good of others, I awaken a collective healing. Salvation is not a distant event but the restoration of my inner world to unity with all. To practice this is to treat every encounter as an occasion to believe that another's good is my own, for we share one life, one awareness. When I name myself as the I AM that desires not profit but the profit of many, I irradiate the belief that difference is real, and thereby dissolve it. The salvation here is the revival of consciousness—an inner condition that makes outer events align with the thought that all are one in God.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you please all for the salvation of many. Imagine a circle of people and feel their well being as yours, then dwell in the conviction that one I AM unites you all.
