Enriched by Him: Inner Gifts

1 Corinthians 1:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 1:5-7

Biblical Context

Paul says believers are enriched by God in every way—utterance and knowledge—so they lack nothing. They are confirmed in the testimony of Christ as they await the coming Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

You are the I AM behind every thought; the verse speaks not of distant favors but of your present state of consciousness. When you accept that you are enriched in every way by the divine within, your utterance and knowledge become effortless expressions of that inner life. The testimony of Christ is not a distant event but an inner conviction that Christ speaks through you, is confirmed in you, and reigns in your heart. You do not come behind in any gift because the gifts are the natural unfoldment of the fully awakened mind. Waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is the acceptance that the fulfillment of your spiritual nature is now, here, in your awareness. By aligning with the I AM, you surrender limitation and allow your inner faculties to operate with grace, discernment, and confidence as you live from the end-state of Christ within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already enriched in every way. Speak and write from that state for a few minutes, feeling the I AM as your awareness and letting the inner Christ testify through your words.
