1 Chronicles 8:38

Biblical Context

Azel is the father of six sons, and the scripture simply lists their names. This passage emphasizes lineage and belonging within Azel's household.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your consciousness, Azel represents the settled state that gives birth to the world you inhabit. The six names—Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, Hanan—are not external persons but movements of your inner life that arise from the one I AM you awaken. When you imagine or remember them, you are naming facets of your own character, habits, loyalties, and responses that have found form through your attention. All these were the sons of Azel: every thought, sensation, and pattern you have allowed to stand within the sanctuary of your mind. To transform them, you must treat Azel as the I AM behind them all and choose what state you will inhabit. Your imagination, rightly directed, is the artisan that births your reality; therefore, revise any sense that these inner things rule you. Assume that these six inner movements are healthy, united, and under your dominion, and feel as if they exist now, as your present circumference of life.

Practice This Now

Assume the inner state named Azel as fully present; imagine six gentle aspects of your life seated in your mind's room and affirm, 'I am the source of this inner family, and they are complete now.'
