28And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
1 Chronicles 29:28

Biblical Context

David dies in a good old age with riches and honour, and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the verse does not speak to death as an ending, but to the natural close of one state and the birth of another within your consciousness. David is the picture of a completed life-state—days full, wealth abundant, honour recognized—a inner condition that you can hold as your identity. When it says Solomon reigned in his stead, it points to a new ruling consciousness that takes control from the old. The throne is the heart, the Crown a realization of self, and the kingdom is your inner order when you align with the I AM. The outer event— a change of rulers—belongs to the same law: as you dwell in the feeling that you are already wealthy, honoured, and secure, the outer circumstances follow. The death of David is the release of fear, limitation, and lack; Solomon is the birth of faith, creative power, and steady governance by the I AM. Your task is to practice ruling from within, until your external world quietly mirrors the inner coronation.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume I AM is king now; visualize Solomon seated on the inner throne and feel wealth and honour as present realities; revise any lack by affirming you already possess them.
