The Inner Kingdom Realization
1 Chronicles 17:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God promises Israel a secure place where they shall dwell unmoved and protected, and that the LORD will build them a lasting house.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the people of Israel as your inner states. The place God ordains is the fixed, settled condition of awareness in which you live. When you imagine from that state, you plant truth deeply; you shall dwell there without being moved by fear, without the 'enemies' of doubt wasting your joy. The line about judges speaks of inner discernment—the quiet ruling of your thoughts by right watchfulness. The LORD building a house becomes the creation of a lasting, orderly pattern of life within you, a temple of steadiness and authority that endures beyond a single moment. To subdue all enemies is to overcome every claim of lack, limitation, or separation by the simple act of assuming the fulfilled state. You do not beg for provision from without; you awaken to the fact that the I AM is the ground of your being, and imagination is the instrument by which you plant and harvest reality. Thus the Kingdom of God is the government of your own consciousness, and you rule from your present I AM, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume you are already dwelling in a fixed, protected inner place. Spend a moment feeling that security and silently declare, 'I am planted and protected by the I AM; my enemies are subdued by my faith in this inner house.'
