Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through Neville's lens, these lines are not about history but the inner drama of consciousness. Giving thanks is a state of awareness in which you acknowledge the good already present within you. To call upon His name is to align your attention with the I AM that you are, turning inner recognition into outer reality. Make known His deeds among the people becomes declaring in your world the transformation your awareness has wrought. Sing unto Him and talk of all His wondrous works become daily singing of the qualities you wish to manifest, rehearsals of your desired state. Glorify His holy name means rejoice in the I AM of your being; seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually is the discipline of dwelling in presence rather than chasing sensation. Remembering His marvellous works is recalling the miracles of awakening, and you, seed of Israel, are the inner lineage of awareness when you honor this true chosenness within. Your practice is to cultivate gratitude, declare your high self, and rest in the certainty that you are already the witnessed and the witness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly and assume the I AM as your present state; feel gratitude as if already true, then inwardly declare, I call upon the name within and remember the wonders I have witnessed, letting the sense of reality settle. Let that feeling lead your day.
