To Neville, the ark is not a relic but the living I AM in you. The ark's dwelling between the cherubim is your inner sanctuary, a pair of faculties—faith and imagination—guarding the sacred space. When David and Israel go up to bring the ark, they are tracing a path of inward attention; you do the same by turning away from outward lack and choosing to rest in the unchanging presence inside. The name called on it points to the very consciousness that witnesses every experience: the LORD, the I AM that you are. The covenant loyalty spoken of in the scene is your decision to remain faithful to this inner state despite appearances. This is true worship: not ritual outside, but a surrender of fear through an assured sense of being-with-God.
