The sorrowful are those states of consciousness that have carried the reproach of past religious judgments; they are not cast out but invited into unity by your awareness. When you realize that the assembly is an inward movement—an arousing of the I AM within—you dissolve the sense of division between you and God. The burden you feel is a misperception of separation; by imagining this inner gathering, you restore wholeness and true worship. The impression of reproach fades as you dwell in the I AM’s presence, where all sorrow is transfigured into communion. Practice this by keeping the I AM at the center, and allow the inner circle to heal and reunite your scattered states into one peaceful awareness.
