Read Zephaniah 3 in context

Scripture Focus

13The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
Zephaniah 3:13

Biblical Context

The verse describes a remnant whose life is true—no wrongdoing or lies in speech; they are nourished and at rest, and fear fades away because they are anchored in integrity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of Zephaniah 3:13 as a description of a permanent state or condition you have the power to enter now. The remnant is not a distant people as much as a fearless state of consciousness in which your words and acts simply reflect truth. When you assume this, the lie of separation falls away; the mind stops producing deceitful talk, because the I AM, your essential awareness, only speaks what is true to Its nature. As you dwell there, you are fed—nourished by right thinking, by thoughts that support your unity with the whole—and you lie down in peace, secure and unafraid. Fear is the memory of limitation; in this inward state you are beyond it, and the outer world becomes a gentle echo of inner harmony. Practice living from the end, the already-real truth that you are the remnant of truth within. Your speech becomes pure, your actions steady, and the sensation of fear vanishes as you awaken to your immutable identity in God.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of the remnant now: silently declare 'I am the truth in expression; no deceit is mine' until it feels real, then carry that consciousness into daily speech and action.
