Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville’s language, Zechariah’s scenes are inner states of consciousness. The LORD seen over them is the I AM fully awake, and the arrow of lightning is your concentrated imagination piercing doubt. The trumpet blown by the LORD is a decision of attention—an inner decree that you are the one who governs your fate. Whirlwinds of the south mirror the shifting movements of feeling in your chest; yet their power serves the purpose of a victorious mind. The LORD of hosts defends you, and you, in imagination, devour and subdue with sling stones—images of decisive thought replacing fear with faith. When you drink the wine of victory and let out a victorious sound, you are filling your inner bowls with certainty that you are cherished by a living Presence. The LORD their God saves them, crowning them like stones of a crown and lifting them as an ensign upon your land. So, assume the I AM sovereign in this moment; feel it, and watch your outer world follow the inner triumph you have already proclaimed.
