6Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 8:6

Biblical Context

The LORD asks whether what people deem marvelous is surprising to Him; the verse reveals that marvels are defined by inner consciousness rather than external events.

Neville's Inner Vision

Toward Zechariah is whispered a key: the LORD of hosts is not astonished by outward signs. In Neville style psychology, the many marvels of the world are nothing more than the movement of consciousness seen from different states. If the remnant looks upon events as miraculous, that is simply the current arrangement of inner beliefs. The eye of God is not impressed by change in form; it knows change begins within. Therefore the real question for you is not what is happening in the outer world, but what inner decree you accept as true about yourself. The moment you realize you are the I AM, the one who feels, imagines, and chooses, you are no longer waiting for marvels to appear; you are the marvel, and your inner state stakes the conditions of life. The verse invites you to drop the double standard: what seems marvelous to others must be equally natural to you when your inner sight is aligned with divine consistency. When you believe, the external becomes a visible expression of an already settled state.

Practice This Now

Assume the present tense state: I AM the I AM, and this marvel is already mine. Feel it real now by dwelling in the inner gaze that sees without doubt, and let that revised state radiate outward in every moment.
