Biblical Context
The verse declares God is returned to Zion, dwelling among Jerusalem, turning Jerusalem into a city of truth and the holy mountain.
Neville's Inner Vision
Zechariah speaks not of geography but of a state of consciousness. When the LORD says I am returned unto Zion, he is declaring that I awaken to Zion within. I take my stand in the inner city of Jerusalem, the seat of awareness where truth reigns and appearances bend to inner conviction. Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, for the conditions I experience reflect the truth I have assumed in my mind. The mountain of the LORD is the holy mountain within, a high place I rise to in quiet, unwavering attention; it is not a distant peak but the focal point of my I AM presence. To dwell in the midst means I do not search outside for God, I invite God to inhabit my inner life. The presence of God then becomes palpable as consistency, steadiness, and creative power, shaping events from the inside out. This inner arrangement quietly redefines every moment, transforming rumor into assurance and lack into abundance, all sourced from the living I AM within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already dwelling in Zion; feel the truth rising as you stand on the holy mountain within; declare 'I am returned unto Zion' and let that certainty fill your heart.
