Scripture Focus

22Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
Zechariah 8:22

Biblical Context

Zechariah 8:22 speaks of many people and powerful nations coming to seek the LORD in Jerusalem and to pray before the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, Jerusalem is the quiet center of awareness, the I AM that witnesses every thought. The 'LORD of hosts' is not a distant deity but the living I AM that you are. When Zechariah speaks of many people and strong nations coming to seek and to pray, he is describing the traffic of your own mind: your desires, fears, ambitions, and judgments all entering the temple of your inner life to seek the one who prays through you. The outer promise of nations gathering in a city abroad becomes an inner guarantee: as you settle in the certainty that you ARE the Lord of hosts, these forces align and come to your awareness, not to convert you, but to bow to your real identity. Prayer, then, is not petition to an external God but an act of recognition—let the inner king or queen be present, and all aspects of your life fall into rhythm with that Presence. In this moment you are already the answer sought; all seeking resolves into the one I AM.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling 'I AM.' Imagine a procession of thoughts, desires, and circumstances entering your inner temple to pray before the I AM and bow to Your Presence; dwell in the peace that they are aligning with you.
