Biblical Context
People move between cities to seek the LORD, and many nations come to Jerusalem to pray; ten men from many languages grab the edge of the Jew’s garment, saying, We will go with you, for God is with you.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Zechariah 8:21-23 the cities and nations are states of consciousness within you; Jerusalem represents your awakened awareness where you stand before the LORD of hosts—the I AM within. The LORD of hosts is the inner Presence you cultivate by assuming and feeling that God is with you. When you truly acknowledge this Presence, others from all languages are drawn to your inner garment, as if clinging to your faith and courage, saying, We will go with you, for God is with you. This is not about external geography but about inner alignment: your decision to reside in the Presence radiates a magnetism that pulls people toward your example of prayer and unity. The prophecy reveals that the Self, awake, becomes a beacon that joins a multitude to the one reality: you are God-aware here and now. Your task is to live from that certainty and observe how others respond to the vibration of your inner trust.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already the vessel of God's Presence; in your next moment, silently affirm 'God is with me now' and imagine diverse seekers approaching your inner state, asking to walk with you in prayer.
