Within Zechariah’s vision, the Branch is not a distant ruler but the I AM growing up in your own consciousness. He emerges 'out of his place'—the hidden, ignored gestures of your mind—yet remains the one who builds the inner temple. To Neville eyes, this Branch bears the glory not as outward pomp but as the awareness that creates form from imagination. The temple you seek to restore is your state of consciousness; the throne you see is the level of awareness upon which you rule your inner world. The two offices—king and priest—converge in one. The king is your command of attention, the priest is your surrender to inspiration; together they draft a policy of peace that passes between them—between assertive initiative and receptive assurance. When you assume the Branch is acting now, you invite a unity where every part of you serves the greater temple. Your present feelings, beliefs, and imaginal acts are the stones of that edifice, and the presence of God is the felt truth of your awareness.
