Scripture Focus

11Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
12And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Zechariah 6:11-12

Biblical Context

Zechariah portrays an inner crowning of Joshua the high priest and the rise of the Branch who will rebuild the temple of the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner comedy of the verse, Joshua is the high priest of your own consciousness and the Crown is the steady awareness you choose. The silver and gold are the refinements you invite into mind and feeling. The Branch appears not as a future person but as a living possibility growing from your center. When this Branch speaks through you, you are invited to build the temple of the Lord within, a sanctuary where presence remains. The promise that he shall grow up out of his place means your true authority springs from stillness, rising from your inner room and restoring order and holiness. Prophecy and promise are simply the movements of consciousness that wake you to your divine state. So crown yourself with awareness, feel its weight and ease, and let the Branch do the work of rebuilding in your daily life.

Practice This Now

Practice: For the next few minutes, close your eyes, assume the state of crowned consciousness, and silently declare that the Branch is growing in me. Feel the inner temple rise as you affirm I am the temple built by the Branch in me.
