Biblical Context
Zechariah 4:2-6 presents a golden candlestick with two olive trees, and the angel explains that the LORD’s work is accomplished not by might or power but by the Spirit within. It points to inner supply and divine presence as the true source.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the vision is a map of your inner kingdom. The gold candlestick is your attention, steady and pure; the bowl at its top is the focal point where inspiration gathers. The seven lamps are the faculties of consciousness the Spirit lights—imagination, faith, perception, memory, will, sensation, and awareness itself. The two olive trees beside it are your inner supply of divine oil, drawn from recognizing you are I AM. When the angel declares that not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, he announces the basic law: all true outcomes spring from the Spirit within you, not from external force. Your outer circumstances echo your inner alignment. If you fear lack, revise your state to the truth of I AM and feel the reality of that presence. Let the oil continuously feed the flame, and the light will work through your thoughts, decisions, and days.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and rest in I AM. Speak softly, 'Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,' and feel the oil of awareness fueling your inner lamp; carry that certainty into the next moment.
