Zechariah 4:2

Biblical Context

The prophet describes a gold candlestick with a bowl on top and seven lamps, connected by seven pipes.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that the candlestick is not a thing out there, but your own consciousness standing in the light of awareness. The gold lamp-stand represents the fixed Presence I am within you, the I AM that never wavers. The bowl on top is receptivity—the quiet belief of your heart that there is a constant flame ready to burn. The seven lamps are the seven aspects of your inner life: attention, faith, worship, holiness, separation from doubt, gratitude, and steadfast imagination. The seven pipes supply the flame with its living substance, implying that your daily thoughts and feelings feed the light. When you ask, 'What seest thou?', you are invited to inspect your state of consciousness; if you see scarcity, fear, or distraction, revise it by assuming the end you desire and feeling it real continuing to glow. This lampstand is not an external ceremony but a spiritual anatomy: inner light fastening to your I AM, illuminating your world through your inner decree and faithful imagination. The prophecy and promise lie in the fact that God is present within, always ready to manifest as your experienced reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: I AM the light of God within me; revise my state to fullness and feel it real as the lamps burn.
